As a former competitive swimmer and collegiate athlete who graduated from Willamette University in 2001, my passion for athletics has been a lifelong journey, evolving with each stage of my life.
Throughout my career, I’ve embraced coaching & training across various levels. I am also the creator of “Women on Weights,” a highly popular small-group training program that empowers women to build strength, confidence, and proper weightlifting techniques. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness transformations, such as a client over 70 increasing her bone mass by 7% in a single year.
In my 40s, I encountered my own physical challenges—more frequent injuries, reduced energy, and less resilience. A herniated L4-L5 disc in 2021 was a pivotal moment, prompting me to reevaluate my approach to fitness. I shifted my focus from high-volume workouts to prioritizing quality, incorporating strength training and functional movement. This personal transformation ignited my passion for helping other women navigate similar experiences. In 2024, I became a certified menopause coach, diving deeply into the science of nutrition, movement, and lifestyle strategies that enable women over 40 to thrive.

Kristine's most outstanding capability is that she meets everyone at their own level with whatever limitations they have and teaches them. She does this with sensitivity, kindness and encouragement. No judgments. And Kristine knows weights. I continue to work with her because she helps me improve my form and seek new challenges.
